This video was recorded on 12/15/22 and included information on the IRS 1099-K that was then current. This stated that, for 2022, third-party payment platforms (ex. Ebay, Venmo, etc) would be required to report transactions with an aggregate total of $600 or more. A week later, the IRS announced a delay to the change. For 2022, 1099-Ks will be issued if at least $20,000 is paid from at least 200 transactions. The IRS is describing this as a transition period.
