Coping with Challenges of Remote Learning: Maintaining Social Relationships, Reducing Trauma, and Building Resiliency
COVID-19 has changed the face of education almost overnight. For parents, teachers, and school administrators, it can be difficult adjusting to the “new normal” of remote learning. Please join us to learn about how school districts, large and small, are adjusting to support their students with disabilities, tips, and techniques for parents to help their child keep up on remote assignments, resources for students, parents, and district staff to support and supplement remote learning, and how to blend resiliency characteristics into academic lessons and conversations.
