This clinic is FREE for anyone who needs to change their legal name due to a gender change and qualifies for services through the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York.

Attorneys and law students will be on hand to help attendees fill out the paperwork to do their own legal name changes. The attorneys will NOT represent attendees, but they will help them fill out their own paperwork and instruct them on filing it.

There will be virtual break-out rooms available to discuss any personal issues.

Explain that you want to register for the name change clinic. The person you speak to will assess your eligibility (financial and otherwise) and register you for the clinic.
