Let’s Get Planning: A general overview of Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, and Powers of Attorney.

A power of attorney allows you to name an agent to make financial decisions on your behalf.  The agent can help you if you become ill and cannot take care of your finances yourself.  You can also use the POA when you are well, if you just want someone else to help take care of financial matters.  A living will and health care proxy help ensure that medical providers follow your health care wishes even when you cannot make the decisions for yourself.

Open to all senior citizens over the age of 60.  Walk-ins welcome.
