Free Legal Information and Advice – Ask a Lawyer
June 9, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Back in January, the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York (LASNNY) announced FREE Legal information and advice sessions to be held the second Tuesday of every month at the Schenectady County Public Library for the duration of 2020. Obviously, those in-person sessions were postponed once the pandemic occurred, and the Library was forced to close.
Now, legal service providers are working to make these sessions virtual, making the information even more available to those who need it as we all look to turn a corner from these troubling times. The next will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
There are 30 appointment slots available, each lasting 30 minutes. This service is for Schenectady County residents only at this time. Residents are asked to call ahead to schedule an appointment at (518) 435-1770 OR (518) 462-67-65.
