Summary: while no trials or public gatherings are allowed, courts are still accepting electronic filings and holding conferences remotely (or adjourning them).
Northern District General Order 58– generally, no trials or public gatherings will take place. Electronic filing will continue, as will other business that can be conducted remotely.
Northern District Bankruptcy Court Administrative Order 20-03 – scheduled conferences will either be held telephonically or adjourned. Evidentiary hearings and trials will proceed, as will other business. A separate Notice provides that all in-person section 341 meetings scheduled through April 10, 2020 will either be adjourned or held telephonically.
